The NAI organizes an annual summit for the digital marketing tech community each year, and last week’s version was among the best that they’ve run. These events are known for drawing a focused, senior, intimate crowd of execs from the leading third party marketing tech companies.
I was on a panel with Andy Dale (DataXu), Ashwin Navin (Samba TV), and Alan Chapell (Chapell and Associates). We a had a lively discussion about the evolving digital ad market for TV and the convergence of TV data with digital media.
These are confusing, fragmented, and still nascent markets with massive potential. They will also be watched carefully by regulators and the press and will need to be managed carefully.
